"The motivation for Oguz Kaya's work mainly derives from his personal interests: cultures, personalities, music and fashion. Authenticity and effortlessness play a main role in his photography and serve as the golden thread that extends throughout his work. As the person behind the lens the photographer tries to disappear, providing the viewer an incredibly vivid first-person experience of the subject. His strong ability to observe becomes especially apparent in documentary and event photography."
